This traybake is a wonderful taste of citrus and summer, it's a secret recipie that Lissy made up after we moved home several years ago. At the new house, with all our kitchen things still packed in boxes, she couldn't find the scales but she really wanted a lemon drizzle cake so she threw in the amounts that looked ok and, lo and behold, her best lemon drizzle was born. Unfortunately she had no idea how much of each ingredient she used! So she spent the next 6 years making lemon drizzle cakes until she got it right, and this is the result. This is always the first cake to go at any bake sale or party so get it while you can and keep the summer going in cake form!
